Stone prop

What do you guys use to prop your stones up to sharpen comfortably? I can't lay one flat. I'll post a pic of my hone made apparatus shortly.
 
The base that came with mine wasnt tall enough so I made a small wooden pedestal for it. Plasti dipped the bottom so it wouldn't slide around.
