I have a zt 0770 with anodized aluminum scales, and I want to know if I need to remove the anodizing before I try to stone wash the scales.

I wouldn't... if you remove off the ano from the aluminum scales you are essentially removing their 'armor' as the aluminum is very soft and won't wear well left raw imho. Not sure how it will turn out w/ the ano left on though...

The knife has a couple good scratches in it and it is driving me crazy. All my knives are users but I still like them to look good. And it is really driving me crazy. Just looking for options to refinish this knife.
