I need a picture comparing the Stonewash and Satin finishes ona knife blade. Any idea which one is better? This is for a microtech socom elite.

Stonewashed has been described as looking like a tin roof. I personally prefer stonewash because it helps hide scratches in use.

The blade of this Sebenza is stonewashed:

I love Stonewash, although it's really hard to take a picture of. The tin roof was a good start, but not the whole story, because it's smooth, not rough, like a tin roof. Think of a tin roof with a coat of varnish on it, and that's closer.

Most people find Satin more attractive, but scratches really show on it. Stonewashed doesn't start out as pretty, but it won't change much as it gets used.

my vote goes to satin, u can always buff the scratches out if u don't mind a rougher satin-like finish.
