I'm thinking about stonewashing me endura4, thought about just using some rocks from my driveway, is that bad? Should I use driveway rocks or get stone for like fish tanks, that kinda thing? Eny help/pics are a huge help, thanks you. Stay sharp, stay safe!

NO!
If you just want the patina, use a fine ceramic media.
If you want dents, rounded edges and a knife beaten to crap, use rocks.
Google is your friend.

Different tumbling media will give you different results. I used painted quartz in a DIY stonewash attempt, and the finish was very subtle. I have seen good results come from "smooth river rocks" available in hardware stores. Depnding on the shape of your knife, you may need various sizes of media to evenly finish the whole blade. In other words if you use larger stones then small nooks and crevices in the blade will not receive the finish.

If you can, I would experiment some first.
