Right now, the uncoated blade finish option is different on the automatic and non-automatic (assisted opening or Maxx Glide bearing) versions of the HTM Gunhammer. On the auto versions, it's stonewashed, while on the non-auto ones it's "non-glare" (difficult to describe if you haven't seen it in person, but sort of a cross between stonewashed and bead-blasting, without the rust-proneness of the latter).
I've mentioned to Darrel on a few occasions that a lot of guys on the forum are big fans of stonewashed blade finishes and that it'd be worth considering as an option on the non-auto HTM Gunhammers. Darrel has listened, and is going to be experimenting with offering a stonewashed finish as an option on the assisted opening/Maxx Glide HTM Gunhammers. Whether they become a regular blade finish option will depend on how well they're received. Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up so that you know what's happening if you see some stonewashed assisted or Maxx Glide HTM Gunhammers popping up on the HTM website or on dealers' sites.
Below is a pic of a HTM Gunhammer with a stonewashed Radian blade from the CTS-XHP limited edition that's now shipping. The lighting/colors look a bit strange in the photo -- the blade looks a bit darker/grayer than it actually is -- so below that I've also included a picture that, at the very bottom, gives a decent look at the stonewashed finish on an automatic HTM Gunhammer.
