I followed the instructions from Goldmember Maprik. Turned out rather well. Did not effect fit and finish what so ever. Lock-up is still rock solid. If you have a scratched up user Sebenza I say go for it.

I really love the look of the stonewash finish. Excellent job! You and Maprik have given me the courage to try this some time soon--but probably not on my Sebenza just yet! I think I'll "practice" on an old beater EDC first. Great job to both of you! Thanks for posting pics.

Mine doesn't show any fingerprints either. Actually oil from my fingers can sometimes create subtle differences in shade on the handle that look really cool. Stonewashing is 100% better than bead blasted for my taste and use. I'm not afraid to use this knife anymore. Scratches and scuff marks cannot be seen anymore...

That looks really cool, great job!

I'm kind of liking the darker finish with the standard bead or sandblast for now, but the stonewash might be something I would actually consider doing down the road.

I think it is a nice alternative for your user knife after it gets worn. You can stone-wash it instead of sending it in to get re-blasted. It's really pretty simple to do.

I have to say, I really like this look.

Good job, both of you.
