Stonewashing laminated blades?

Hey guys, one of my most carried knives is a caly 3.5 ZDP 189/CF and the 420J2 steel scratches incredibly easy.

Has anyone seen or have a laminated blade that they've stonewashed? How did they turn out?

I looked for about 20 minutes and this is all I found. I don't see why it would be a problem. The zdp being so hard probably won't scratch exactly the same as the buttery 420. ANYONE ELSE? Bladeforums usually has an answer for everything.

Yeah, I looked around a while too. I just want to make sure I don't ruin one of my favorites!
