Hi Everyone,
I am getting ready to stonewash one of my knives. I have everything I need except the media. Which brings me to my question. Does different media produce different results? Ceramic compared to pea gravel, etc.
For lack of a better term, I am looking for a rough or heavy stonewashed look. At this point, I am considering the use of pea gravel from my cousin's drive way. The blade and pocket clip will be tumbled in a dryer for 1 to 2 hours unless you guys recommend something different.
Any opinions will be helpful and appreciated, thanks.
