I have a budget knife that I want to try a heavy stonewashed finish on. How difficult is it to accomplish? Can anyone tell me?

I have seen pictures of knives that have been etched and washed but I just want to wash it.

Thanks everyone.

If you can shake a can/bottle/other container, you can stonewash your blade

Remove blade and studs

Place in container with small river rock

Shoot a little wd40 in with the rock

Shake until you get desired results

Replace studs, put knife together.

You can tape where the washers or bearings ride so it doesn't alter the action. Also, keep in mind that you'll have a super dull edge afterwards.

It sounds so simple that even I can do it. Looks like the hardest thing will be putting a new edge on the blade.

Thank you so much.
