Have had this blade setting around the shop for over a year now,got mad at it and said it was junk,to thin mostly. But I got a wild hair and finished it out the other day.Even what you think is junk can turn out great when you stop and look at it later :D

160 layer random pattern blade at 5 inches long, mortise tang cow bone handle,N/S hardware and stainless pins.

So what do you think, should I have left it in the junk pile or not ;) ?

Abe,Since the guys on here about 5 years ago or so asked that Donna pose with the knives for size refrence and they liked seeing her,I just tell her that I have a knife that needs a model and she goes and picks out what she wants to wear, sometimes its just jeans and a shirt, depends on her mood.Heck at Blade Show everybody knew her and not me..Plus in the summer her and my daughters run around the house dressed like this most of the time.

I like the models with the cars in the magazines, figured she made the knives look better :D

I am sure she would quit if everone wants her to

I think you'd lose your edge if Donna ever quit modeling your knives. :D She can keep it up in my book. As for the knife though, I think that's a junker, you'd better send it to me for a proper "burial." ;)

Thanks for sharing those beauties Bruce!

Definately a loaded question. Isn't there some rule that says you can't use advertising methods that stop all other makers work from being looked at?

Seriously though - great save. Definately worth the effort.

Bruce!
Good to see you (read: Miss Donna) back on the forums!
Glad you're back at it :D

The photos look great, you should really show off that biggun with the elk handle that's on your available page...that is nice!

Hey Ebbtide,Nice to hear from you. They been keeping you busy at work I bet.
I gotta get back in the swing of posting pics and keeping the website up to date again.

Nice, Bruce! Nice knife, too. We always look forward to the pictures of Donna and umm, was she supposed to be modeling something in the picture? What? A knife was in that picture? Where?

Nothing wrong with that one, glad you didn't destroy it. Don't have a problem with Donna poseing eigther! :D
