This addiction known as knife collecting has begun to take over my life. Recently, I received an unexpected bonus in my check, and instead of buying this like food, or text books which I urgently need I put it towards my credit card payment. I then turned around and used that to order up an Emerson PUC (Model 803) and an Oso Negro. It's my first Emerson so I'm excited, but is there some kind of rehab group somewhere for recovering knifeaholics?

There are several 12 step programs out there. The one I can sponser you in requires that you send all your knives to me so that I can help you eliminate any lingering temptations.. :D :D

Being in school I feel you on that man...its tough. What I would say to you is try to limit yourself, or just do the credit card in block of ice thing...

One of the things pushing me through school is the thought of the cooler toys I can buy when I'm finally done!

being new here myself... I dunno if this is correct for everyone (certainly is for me), but I would venture to guess that you are in good company

and now I am off to browse the internet for a deal on a Microtech Makora... there has gotta be one for under $350 out there somewhere...

Don't buy them on a CC,only if you have cash. This cuts down the getting new ones a good bit.

Good points from everyone so far, I'm actually just being comical, as I saved a good bit of cash which is still in the bank. Just another one of those, help I'm an addict threads. (I've tried the icy CC card thing, but since I have the information memorized it doesn't work well).
