Hey guys stop the stupid questions about the future of BKC.

Benchmade is making a line the RED line out of the country they will the cheaper line for theose that line to by in the Gerber, CRKT, Cold Steel price range. They will all be held to BKC standards for that level of knife.

No the higher end stuff is not going away. What they have now will stay with the Blue and Black line. And new stuff will come in time from those lines aswell.

Thirdly the Gold line will show case the finner products from BKC high end Limited Editions.

Benchmade...

I can understand db's confusion. Even though the actual company name is Benchmade Knife Company, I have never before seen them referred to a BKC. If I didn't already know what Nimravus was talking about I would have been confused myself.

Boy, I'm glad I didn't ask any stupid questions.

You guys who did... face it, you've been OWNED.

The complaint was aimed at those that do not take the time check certain things out before they ask a question.

Everyone talks about new company sites, or about this or that. Is it notup to us forumites to get as much info on a subject beofre asking a question. One just needs to check the www.benchmade.com the BKC website to see that they are not killing the old knives.

It just seems to be a comon theme with some forumite that do not want to work but let all the others do the work for them.

That is my BEEF.

Sorry

Genghis Con if you too offence to this.

Yeah I hear ya Nim..., but heck.., the dynamic you describe is pretty much present throughout any sort of Forum. In the ideal world, I suppose it would be nice if everyone chose to do all the homework necessary before posting repetitious or somewhat silly questions, but I don't see that happening anytime forseeable.

If you feel like something asked is redundant or simply lazy..., don't respond to it...pretty simple...

That's a great idea. If everybody would do some serious research they could avoid clogging up the forum with questions. These questions often lead to interesting discussions, and we should all do our part to put a stop to that kind of inappropriate piffle and balderdash. I think we could get it down to about 3 posts a week with this method.

Wow! Four pages of discussion (so far) wasted on a stupid question about Benchmade to which Nimravus knew the answer! I'm embarassed to say that I was actually interested in the thread. Maybe you should have nipped that discussion in the bud, Nim?

This forum more than any other I frequent has repeat-style or similar questions posed.

But that's Ok by me, it's an extremely active board and has tons of opinions and information.

This is one great site!

Excuse me but, where do I go to ask the stupid questions?

Wait a minute, the above question may be a dumb question, and if it is in fact, a dumb question, it may not be allowed here, in which case, I, probably shouldn't be here. Now to understand my dilemma you need to realize that I have no place else to go, so this is where I belong, and if this is where I belong, than this is truly the place for stupid questions, so in conclusion let it be known throughout cyber land that DISMUSBEDAPLACE.The previous runon sentence is dedicated to Brother Regis my HS Creative Writing Teacher

I agree with TorzJohnson completely. All of you people should stop asking stupid questions that have been answered already, do some serious research, and stop asking these stupidly redundant questions. That way Spark can cut down on bandwith issues, and we can bring down the number of new posts we have to read!

And, after all, everyone knows the answer to any question is "Sebenza", "buy both", or "UTFSE".

Good Evening All-

Benchmade should be applauded for offering models at a variety of pricepoints. I would have to think that they're trying to attract new customer with anticipation of upselling them later. Much the same way that Chevrolet hopes that one day their customers will be driving Cadillacs.

For the record, lots of forumites seem to have a problem with the ever-so-handy, gray SEARCH button in the upper-right section of the screen. It makes for funny jokes, but Spark would reduce his bandwidth if people weren't posting identical/multiple "What's up with Benchmade?" threads. On the same hand, if I see another "Need help picking an EDC" thread, I'll scream. </rant>
