Stop the whining!!!!

Lately there has been a lot of fuss about various things about the newly released 0560CBCF. It gets annoying, it really does. There are pretty simple solutions to all your fussing
1) If you don't like the bead blast.....DON'T BUY IT!!
2) If you don't like the price.....DON'T BUY IT!!
3) If something isn't absolutely perfect about it.....CALL KAI!!
4) If you really want to buy one......BITE THE BULLET AND BUY IT (Sell some stuff if necessary, I did)

I swear sometimes I feel that they should rename this subforum to the whine about petty things forum.
What you all don't realize is that KAI goes through a lot to make all these for you. They're not doing it for themselves....Sometimes I even wonder if they make money off these custom quality pieces (I somewhat doubt they make a lot, if any)
And like I said they're going through trouble of designing MULTIPLE NEW knives just to please some of you who can appreciate them. I don't see many other companies designing NEW LE knives for their customers. They change up current models but never (usually) make new ones.
I don't see much praise here, so I'm going to do it now. Jimmer, Lynda and other KAI employees. I appreciate the work you put into these knives, and thank you for putting up with all of us, and our petty complaints. Thank you.

Some of you got to take a step back, and look at what you're getting upset about. It's not about if you'll be able to pay off you're bills in time, it's not whether you're son, daughter, wife, husband, mom, father is going to survive an accident, disease, military deployment, etc.

You all got you're life pretty well (to the extent of my knowledge), enjoy it, and don't get worked up over wants, rather than needs........Ignorance is bliss, huh?

Rant over, I can now say, I feel better.
Mods, feel free to close this if you deem it inappropriate.

To paraphrase the late great Victor Borge, if you think that the problem with pancakes is that they should be waffles, just get waffles instead and forget about pancakes.
 
Seriously, people need to understand that the only reason they have such a stick up their tushie is cause they LIKE the knives. If it was just some crappy flea market knives it wouldn't even be on their radar. People need to just stop complaining and realize oh the only reason why I'm so frustrated and want to whine is cause I like it and want to get it but these obstacles stand in my way.

So just man up and either spend the time and/or money and get one! If not just carry on with your life and wait for the next sexy thing that KAI comes out with :D

I'm with you on the whining, but I will say that the defensiveness of alot of people in this subforum doesn't help. I've seen quite a bit of responses that only spread negativity. Lets try and remember this is a hobby, and as such should be enjoyable. This subforum used to be fun, it's not so much anymore. But I aint going anywhere, love this place and just want it to be fun and informative. Now I'll fade into the background again.......:D:thumbup:
 
isnt this thread whining? whining about whining?????? tisk tisk Mark..... sadly, this is the problem with a forum, ppl mostly get on to complain. stop reading the bs threads and feeding into it, and things will be a lot easier for you

Good thread Mark, I agree with what you said. this is all I have to say, as long as people have there own opinion There will be arguments, bickering and whining.

If your wishes are fulfilled and no more whining occurs, you realize that everything there will have to be read in here will be some circle self-touching about how the knives are good and awesome and purdy?

Furthermore, you wouldn't be able to post your very own piece of whining.

That'd be a dull forum.

I wish people spelled words properly. The content of the posts don't bother me nearly as much as the presentation. :D
 
Some of the stuff that is said elicits a "that's dumb, be quiet, etc." Got to keep a balance. Is ain't that rite stick?
 
Supposedly this is a place to discuss Kershaw and ZT knives. The manufacturer gets free feedback. People who read get free info and opinions. Not everyone comes here to shower praise 24/7 and be part of a fan club. If discussing price point and the pros and cons of bead blasting is labeled as whining then what's the point of this forum? What topics are allowed for discussion?

Topics for discussion should be praise and high quality photos of KAI products.
