Had a ball as usual. Adam DesRosiers is squatting there for a few months making knives. These guys are collaborating like crazy designing new knives and working to make some ultra high performance blades.

Jason's work is approaching perfection, in my book. Adam's is a little more rustic, but both are making some incredible pieces. I have some pictures if anyone would like to post them.

You're right Anthony,Jason Knight is one Talented maker.I've got a big 10 inch recurve Cutter by him that is Nothing short of Exceptional.I'm thinking of having him make an 8 inch twin for it.

Here are a few of the photos.

Thanks Jose,
the top knife is an aoutstanding bowie by Jason with w-2 blade, bronze guard, hammered pins and maple handle. Wicked and flawless.

In the next pic, Adam (Right) and Jason are comparing notes. Look at the wild knife Jason is holding.

The next shows Jason's competition "cutter" with belt finished blade, maple handle that has been stippled and bronze collar. The moose antler, a gift from Adam, is what the guys both use to test their edges on. If it cannot take the moose antler it gets reworked or scrapped. It is amazing how tough their blades are.

The final pic shows Adam forging out a big recurve cutter. Maybe it belongs to someone here?

No problem, Anthony, if you have any more you want to share I'll add them to my post. Those are some sweet choppers!

Those are some great looking knives. That big bowie is indeed very nice. It's always good to get to see photos of the makers themselves as well.

Jason's work is fantastic, he will be at the Reno show in six weeks and he will be the first person I will see.

I REALLY like that raised aggressive swedge that Jason has on his cutter, and the slightly more toned-down version on that killer bowie. Thanks for the pics Anthony - and for posting them, Jose.

Roger
