Stopped in Tualatin

My wife and I were taking a trip down the coast and one of my planned stops was the KAI factory in Tualatin. I was greeted by the receptionist and was told they didn't do factory tours. I did see Thomas walking around, but didn't try to meet him, as he seemed rather busy. I had 2 ZT knives with me (an 0200 and an 0560) with weak detents, so I headed down to the warranty dept. to have them checked out. They replaced the 0560's blade and worked on the 0200, sharpened them up better than new and included some deep-carry clips I asked for, all at no charge! Upon returning to the main office, I was presented with some "swag" for my visit. A white flex-fit Kershaw hat, a Brawler gift set with light and pen, and a large Kershaw window sticker! Though it was a bit of a let-down not seeing the inner workings of the shop (it WAS a bit late in the day), their generosity and courtesy more than made up for it! I'm proud to say I own several of KAI's products and will continue to do so! Keep up the GREAT work!

Very cool! I stopped in years ago while on a business trip. It was late in the day as well, and the lady that I talked with went rummaging through cubicles and found a hat for me. Still have it.

KAI has great customer service! It's always a pleasure dealing with them, especially coming from someone who lives 40 minutes away from their factory!

BHQ has the black ones with red lettering for Kershaw. I want to find a ZT flex fit, but haven't found them anywhere. BHQ also has the ZT in velcro back.
