AS my collection grows and as I find myself using knives for more and more for all types of jobs I am at a point to where I want to explore various storage devices and carrying devices as well.
From the point of storage I use Zipper Pouches for all of my knives that don't have factory boxes. I also have a footlocker for storing the most of them.
When it comes to carrying them safely and efficiently. I am really looking for better, safer sheaths, lanyards, holsters and other carrying devices as well.
Preservation and safety have become my 2 most important criteria. I just recently lost my second knife in the Missouri wetlands where I work and I am not going to let that happen again. My knives are much to important to feed them to swampland
Also I would like to know of any commercially made footlockers and/or footlockers made by individuals that might be efficient for dry, safe storage.
I know this is a big, wide open thread that will encompass quite a bit but it is an area of my knife hobby that I really want to explore all of the aspects thereof. Also the names of any companies that supply such stuff would be helpful to all of us.
