Im looking for a footlocker or something similar where i can store my knives but still have them accessible do any ideas on where i can find one for a decent price?

Try Pelican Case man.They are just about indestructible and come with foam that you can pluck and pull to fit certain knives.

How many knives?

I've bought vintage steamer trunks for well under $100 before. And they're large enough to hold almost anyone's collection. The wooden versions won't be terribly secure, but they can be padlocked to keep out curious little brothers. The metal ones are very difficult to get into if locked, and when loaded with knives you can be sure no one's going to haul it off - not without a forklift anyway!

Interested in something like Pelican cases? Check out the Serpac - Seahorse cases. Much less expensive than Pelican, and very durable.

Those are actually quite tiny. It would hold a small collection of vintage / traditional pocketknives, but the drawers are only 1-3/4" tall. I doubt even a Gerber Gator in it's box would fit in there. Something like a pair of Beckers, forget about it.

For the same money you could buy a Craftsman toolbox mid-section. More secure, larger, more durable, and you can add to it as your collection grows. Watch for sales at their website, especially if they have any free shipping deals over the holidays. For example:

It should go without saying that security should be a primary factor when shopping.

I've actually got a very similer case and it holds all my knives, from Toothpicks to CRK 1 Piece knives.
In the boxes, probably not...but out of yes.Holds about 60 pocket knives.
