For folders there are real nice storage boxes (with or without glass-top). But where do you keep your bowies, fighters or hunters??
You put them in a safe or just a drawer.... or do you have even a special chest only for knives?

I have an army metal chest for weapons in general, locked with two locks, although anyone can open it with a little patience. Keeps the younger kids' hands in place..bad j/k..I like my little arrangement.
Just my .02€

Cheers,

On a shelf in my storage closet in my apartment. Except my BK&T Patrol Machete, its kept by my headboard on my bed out of the sheath. If anyone breaks into my place they are going to see me come screaming outta my bedroom with the BK&T in one hand and my 21" ASP in the other, and bythen they had better be running in the other direction :p

On the shelves of my gun safe which should actually be called my knife safe since there are more knives in there than guns.

in an early '30's carriage trunk, made of metal, with padlocks. However, several do reside on knife-stands, and my personal favorite tanto is on a stand on the headboard of my bed... If I can't find my Glock in the dark, I'll be at 'em with the tanto! (Actually, it'll be the G-30 in one hand and the tanto in the other... in case 10 rounds ain't enough!)

I keep mine in a gunsafe in Bill's Cases.., and I really like those cases. They seem much more durable than most..,and although I wouldn't say they are inexpensive.., I do think the quality is excellent...
