Questions ahead...

Ok, So in how many people on here store fuel "just in case"

How/where is best... and are there law websites that deal with this topic?

How many gallons would be necissary for short term... how many to light up a house?

I'm running through my mind half for the security, and the other half some space on the price of gasoline! If something like whats going on in AZ with the broken pipeline happend on the east coast, and gas was no where to be found... how long before you need a refill on the tanks at the house?

... Sorry for lack of common thoughts going together, and a broken up paragraph!

i rotate about 150 gal here, but in many locations there is a 50 gal limit to storage on site by some fire marshals, you need to be changing the gas about ever 6-9 months, i have stored it longer and had no problems , but would reccomend to use it in your car. given 150 gal which is my max storage, i usually have about 100 on site, i could go a pretty long time some months unless the electricity was out, then i would need some to run the house, so it would last several months. i also have a friend that keeps a fair amount put up in tanks,so i would be able to obtain more. also keep about 25- 30 gal diesel for the tractor. i have not had much trouble from storing the fuel but i run it through a .5 micron and water filter befor putting to into a vehicle.
