Another ocd question I’m sorry, is a 17 inch plastic tool box ok to store a couple of my favourite stainless steel blades long term or would it get humid in there? Thanks all!

Haha too late mate!So long as they're put away clean and dry with a little anticorrosive coating and separate from leather sheaths , you should be fine .
Just never two of the same exact model in one box , 'cause who knows what could happen !![]()

Nice routine!I bought 4 large plastic air tight containers from STOREABLES and then put a cheap battery operated humidity detector and large packet of desiccant in the box. I'm using 2 of the 4 plastic bins now and need to get my tail in gear and get to the others.
#1 - Wax coat your knives with Renaissance Wax and place them in the airtight plastic bin
#2 - Put in the humidity detector
#3 - Prep the desiccant which means you heat it in an oven to remove the water from it, and place it in the plastic bin...and close it up
