I had a pile of pocket knifes, flashlights and wallets I was rotating between for EDC.....all setting on my dresser. I was looking for another way to store them in a way that I could easily see and get to them.

I think I found the perfect item - maybe somebody else could use it as well.

Its a jewelry organizer to hang in a closet - cost under $10 and works great.

Good idea.... I wish I could do something like that.... But would quickly be in the hands of my two and five year old .

Great idea, actually. I was this very morning thinking that I must do SOMETHING!!! (Every morning for a long time, to be honest)I've got crap filling every drawer and covering every flat surface. It's hard to even define the scope of it. Where'd you get that, are they common? Didn't even know they existed, (I don't shop or ever go into retail stores except for the grocery store) Oh....never mind. There's a bunch on Amazon alone. Thx!!!

I keep one EDC in a small basket on my dresser. The rest remain in a safe while not being used. I tend to carry one knife for a month except Sundays when a small slippie rides in my dress pants. In the event of a break in, I want to avoid as much loss as possible.

Great idea but one big problem. My wife would see all my knives. I keep mine in the gun safe. She only sees one at a time.
I don't have a knife problem I have a wife problem.

If you go into a teacher supply store and get a Pocket Chart, you can get something similar, but they come in various sizes and colors. They are also made much stronger, so that the average 5 year old can put a sight word card in a pocket without destroying it. There is no sag, too, since they are for index cards but fit folders in quite nice and snug. Tie it to to hang below a coat hanger, put it between 2 jackets, and nobody will know but you.

I keep my better knives in one of the big safes in the den. The so so ones are in various boxes on top of the safe. I know where each and every one of them is. It's no chore to select what I want to carry each morning.

Small tool bag works good and easy to stash. I grab it when I go to the bush with my truck and my field sharpening gear is in there also.

My load-out drawer with some of my toys. Its a drawer in my tool chest I've designated for storage of knives and related stuff. Although, most of my edc's are on my night stand where I keep them until I go out for the day.

I have a largeish cigar box. Holds perhaps 30 knives (folders) of all sizes. They're all lined up next to each other, no sleeves or compartments, plus a few on top. Arranging it was a pleasurable packing problem.

I have a large number of knives but I only frequently carry a half dozen or less. Those I don't carry are locked away securely. Of the others, the little Dragonfly is stored in the pocket of whatever pants I'm wearing at the time and the others are stored in a cabinet in their original boxes until carried.
