storm II question

hello, i just bought a new storm II model 1475 st from my local walmart and it came in a kershaw box with all paperwork but nowhere on the box, blade, or paperwork does it state what kind of steel is in the blade. the blade is date marked sept 06'. does anyone know if it has the sandvik 13c26 and what the rockwell hardness rating is on this knife? if not does anyone know what kind of steel it is? thank you all for your help. vwb

Hi vwb,

The Storm's have always been 13C26. RC will be in the 58-60 range.

thanks Thomas! i wasn't qiute sure but hoped it did have the 13C26. i love this steel. i have a small Storm and i love the cutting and edge holding qualities of this steel. plus it isn't a bear to sharpen once its dull like some steels. again, thanks for the info. VWB.
