I'll start
When i was a kid, i found a box of cool stuff in the rafters of a shed behind my dads house. One of the coolest things in the box was an old straight razor. It was pretty badly discolored, but it was one COOL toy. it had some really neat yellowish white grips with carving on them, and some gold writing on the blade.
At the time, I didn't know a dang thing about knives, and this was a neat find. I'm sure you can imagine some of the stuff i did with it. I chopped rope, cut hay bale twine, and even decapitated a chicken. (Cooked it of course)
I wasn't quite satisfied with the way that the blade would go back past 180 degrees (here comes the stupid part) so i took a screwdriver, and drove a screw into the handle as a stop to prevent it from opening fully. From my perspective, this was a great success, and it worked GREAT until about a month later when the handle cracked in half at the screw...
Looking back, i know that you can't really drill holes with screw in ivory and expect it to survive... but with it broke, i lost interest. Not a clue where it went, but i'm pretty sure that i managed to break and lose an ivory handled straight razor that could have been well over 100 years old... dumbass kid
