Where can I buy an aftermarket deep carry pocket clip for a mini griptilian? When I do a search all that comes up are discussions and blogs about them.
 
Several other sources I have found for deep carry pocket clips but only one has enough info provided to indicate that their unmodified deep carry pocket clips will fit the Benchmade hole spacing. The others do not provide hole spacing information. The ones I purchased from Knifekits.com definitely DO NOT fit the BM hole spacing.
 
Get a clip deep carry clip for the Benchmade 810 Contego, free from Benchmade. It will use only two screw holes. Fits the Mini Grip.
 
I have several on the way. BM does have a policy on the maximum number that they will send per the email that a tech rep sent me. I like deep carry clips based on those on my Contego and Adamas knives and want similar ones on most of my other Benchmades. More knives than they will mail clips for though.
 
The benchmade clips are certainly a cheaper alternative, but STR does nice work so that's a good option too. You can also get it more customized
 
Unfortunately per an email received this morning the STR shop is down due to area flooding and power loss. He asked that enquirers get back to him later this summer. Also I received ONE clip from BM rather than the multiple promised and the one sent was the Adamas version which uses larger mounting screws.

When I asked for a BM clip I asked for "2-3 810 clips" and I got 2. I think you have to be very specific. If you where then it was probably just a mistake, I would ask for more again.

I have done so and let them know about the Adamas clip error as I was specific in my original request. I have also gone ahead and ordered several titanium deep carry clips from a USA Knife Maker parts supplier. Per the listed mounting hole dimensions they should fit the outer holes on 3 hole BM knives.
 
So the 810 Contego and the STR clips are each two-screw, deep-pocket models?

And they fit the holes in the three-screw Ritter folders, both large and small models?
 
Per a visit to the STR site he makes true custom deep carry clips to order for multiple mounting hole configurations and depth of deep carry wanted. The usa knife maker ti clips I have on order should fit the two outer holes of the standard triangular hole pattern used on most BM knives per their listed dimensions. I will be reporting on them once they arrive and I get them installed on some knives.

Yep, I'm not sure all of the STR clips are deep carry or not, but the 810 clips are 2 screw clips the go on the outer screw holes of the 3 screw pattern. They will fit any of the Benchmade knives with the 3 hole clip pattern if I'm not mistaken. The 275 clips are the same as the 810 but the 275 clips have bigger holes for bigger screws. The 810 is what you want for the Griptilians.
