I got in touch with Steve and found out that he's out of mounting screws. I thought that, perhaps, because the G10 side is thicker the standoff screws on that side might be longer so you could thin the G10 and then swap the standoff screw to mount the clip. Unfortunately the standoff screws are the same length on both sides. The fact that you are adding not only the width of the metal for the clip but also the depth of the countersink means that, well... you need a longer screw that's not already on the knife. Looking around the house now. Maybe in my bicycle stuff?
The width and thread count are the same as used in the Asian-made Kershaws, like the Cryo. That's the only other Asian-made knife I have so the only one I could check, and unfortunately the length is the same as the standoff screws for the Southard. I don't think Kershaw will be any more helpful about the size of their Asian parts than Spyderco. Maybe if someone has a digital caliper?
Update: Using my non-digital calipers and the fact that they come in standard widths, this is pretty clearly a 2.5mm screw/bolt. The standard thread pitch for that size is .45 meaning that there are a little more than 2 per millimeter. Total length of the screw including the head is 5 mm subtracting 1.5 for the head gives a bolt length of 3.5 mm . Visually I count 8 threads using a magnifying glass, which gives a thread pitch of 0.44 . Close enough for gummint work.
BTW, the width of the head I make to be slightly more than 4 mm
Update 2: Well, it could be 2.4mm I guess. Didn't realize they came in that size, but I think that's kind of rare isn't it? All I see in that width are the flatheads. How about if I buy a bag of 2.5mm x 45 - TORX - Button Head - (.230/155/T-6) - (25ct) and have them send directly to STR and just deduct the cost from the price of my clip? If it works (and it almost certainly will) then he'll have enough for 24 more orders?
Update 3. the 0.230 is the longest length they have on Knifekits . That's 5.8 mm so it's 2.3 mm longer than the stock. There is also a .178 length which is 4.5 mm or about 1 mm longer than stock, but I think 5.8 would be safest.
