STR strikes again

I asked the venerable STR to add a custom made clip that would allow tip up carry to a Paramilitary .
He did such a beautiful job of design and execution that both the knife's look and function were improved.
I will post a pic as soon as possible.

Does that clip he made you allow the knife to ride any lower in your pocket?

Yes, it is my understanding that he can make different shapes, sizes and thicknesses and place them in variable positions.
They are also titanium that he can color as you choose.

I should stress how good his work looks.

My wife is out of town with our camera but I will post pics when possible.

Aside from his many other talents, STR has filled a void in the production folder community.....the need for a "low-rider" clip for low profile carry in urban areas on just about any folder and even flashlights.

Not only does the knife dissapear but the clip is almost invisible in the "blue-jean blue" anodized titanium when wearing jeans. I am a happy customer. He provides quality work and a super fast turnaround. Where are those pics?

He just did a clip for me also. I should have it in a couple days and I'm excited. I also chose the blue anodized titanium. Mine is for a Kershaw Scallion.

I'll throw up some pics of it on the knife when it gets here.

STR is really great.

Thanks Steve!

Much of it is in the link in my first post with the exception of ones I didn't post due to being repeats of the same model knife.
More than just the pocket clips I do can be seen on my homepage in my profile at this link. You can also see some of the other big talents like my very good friend Dirk AKA Oupa.

This forum is probably not the place to discuss these things though. I suspect it will be moved shortly.

Thanks though.

Sorry STR, can't "stop" :D

Think of how useless a nice folder is without a clip. ;)
I dunno, I've been getting a LOT of use out of this PE Atlantic Salt that STR customized for me. Reshaped blade tip, titanium liners, stabilized birdseye maple scales, and NO clip. :D

I do agree that his work is great!

Way to go Deacon. Super design, that is really thinking outside the box. Love the wood.
