I've found a solution to one of my problems. The problem was finding something to sharpen around the house. Even the kitchen knives don't dull fast enough to warrant more than a weekly touchup.
Well, I bought a straight razor and have been experimenting for a week now.
Get this, it requires daily stropping and monthly honing, and I get to use it every morning to accomplish a genuine need. So far the only drawback is the blood loss.
I checked the shave forum for tips, but I was wondering if any of the sharpening guru's here are into str8's.
