I got this BK2 from TPVT and thought it was a great opportunity to mod the blade a little bit. I assume that he did the burlap handles, so all credit goes to him on that!
I started by grinding down the clip as straight as I could by hand. Then, I crowned it on my belt sander and went to work on smoothing it out and getting a nice polish started on it. It's really going to make a great batoning area that won't chew up my baton so badly. I ended up blueing all of the exposed metal, too. So far, I really like the look and feel of it. It's renewed my interest in the BK2, as I had kind of written it off as a blade that was just too much to do anything well.
