I just got mine today and it is better than I thought it would be! A very solid knife! I like how wide the blade is for this size knife but I do wish it was a little thicker! I guess I have been using my Tomcat to much!:D Thank you Ron for letting me know you still had a couple for sale! Also thanks Loretta for her help as well!

One question for you. Can I get a wrench to tighten up the screws as they might become loose over time? The screws look like a very small star and i don't know what they are called or what size wrench I would need. The pivit and clip also have a Star shaped screw but a little bigger. Where could find a wrench or could I buy one of each size from SOG? Thanks!!!:)

P.S. Are the liners Stainless Steel or Ti? I didn't see this on the SOG web site. If they are SS are they hardened or left soft?

Chris,
The Night Visions take a small Torx driver (T6 and T8?). Try Radio Shack or a number of other places. I got a set in a handle for about 11U$.
I believe the liners are mild stainless, but could be wrong. I filed ridges in the "choil" of my Ti Vision...

Sears sells a nice set of "Craftsman" mini-drivers (flat, phillips, torx) for around $20. Since most torx screws are set fairly tight by manufacturers, it's a good deal. Because if you derform one (and you likely will) you can exchange it for a new one under the "Craftsman" warranty. This comes into play when flipping clips for tip up or right/left hand carry, etc.

Hi Chris,

Those "star" screws are called Torx head screws. The "little" ones are T-6 and the "bigger" one (the blade pivot) is a T-10.

The liners are stainless steel and are likely hardened, but I don't know for sure.

Thank you for the info guys! So far this knife is great! It's lock up is very tight and has no "play" at all in the blade!
