Straight-Handle Badger Attacks?

Are these stupidly rare? Not that I could afford one anyway (based on the price of the other Straight-Handle models), but I never see any come up for sale over in the exchange, and I just think they're cool.

Were they made in lesser numbers than the larger blades, are less likely to be sold now, more likely to be lost/damaged in use, etc? Just wondering.

Thanks in advance. :)

Like these? Like most anything that hasn't been made in awhile, they just aren't everywhere and those that have them, are hanging onto them.

I personally would love to see an ABA offerring--Anniversary Badger Attacks. Just like the ASH-1 offerring--as far as options, handles and duration.

:D

Those are the ones. :D They have an unbeatable, old-school coolness about them.

What was the THINNEST SHBA? I see 5/16ths and thicker listed. Was 5/16ths the thinnest? (Gotta go compare it to a THICK GW to see if that would be to my liking.)

I've never before been interested, but may put feelers out there when I gather my FS fodder this weekend.

I agree with Recluse, The SHBA'a are old skool cool. The BAIII's are nice, but the early ones have the mojo. I would throw away a lot of steel to have the second one down on the right in Randucci's pic.

I don't have them all.:grumpy:
Maybe a dozen or soo though.:D
The thinnest ones are trhe later INFI ones and are around .230 thick, or at least in my experience.

BAIII are sooooo cool. The roped micarta is one of the best patterns Jerry came out with. And the satin and snake....thick or thin...is screamin. Not sure I would call them an EDC but its real close.

Either way a ABALE hopefully will be in my future someday!

My first Busse's were two BA III's, both black crinkle, one with snake skin micarta and the other with black linen. I'm glad I bought them when I did, I love them dearly.

P.S. You gotta admit that an aniversary SHBA would be wicked freakin cool!!! :):):)
