Straight widgy bar?

Hi there - I've been carrying around a Home Depot special Vaughan mini pry bar with the "hooked" end cut off, with an OAL length of about 4.25". I also put it in a vice and straightened it, and re-ground the tip - I use it very regularly and carry it in my wallet...

See picture:

The problem is, I think because of the straightening or maybe because of the hole in it, it bends very easily. I tried to separate two pieces of 3/8" plywood that were laying on top of each other with it, just to lift one an inch or so so I could get my fingers under there to pick it up, and the bar just taco'd right where the hole is. I was still surprised by how easily it bent. My question is, are the countycomm straight widgy bars fairly rigid or do they bend easily? I am not excited to pay $10 shipping on a $10 item to find out it has the same flaw as my $4 knockoff.

Thanks, any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The bend in the bar is made to give flex and prevent plastic deformation. Straightening it in the vice made it lose that deterrence to bending.

Can't speak on the other bars.
