So I have this monster old cleaver that I got in a trade. The thing is crazy cool. But it's bent right where it meets the handle. It's full tang so I'm hoping I can just bend it back. What is the best way to do this? If I just apply force will I create a weak spot in the steel? Should I use heat to relax the steel? Should a let a professional re-heat treat it or something? All advice is welcome. I'd ultimately like to fix this old war horse up.
