Wondering what you guys thought of this piece. I tried to keep it simple as possible. I'm conscious of my prices going up as my work improves (I hope). I wansted to have something straightforward but still had all the nice features associated with a forged blade - distal taper, flat grind, convex edge, tapered tang, balance, selective hardening and satin hand rub. Still wanted to keep the price down ... No embellishments... Keen on your feedback. Jason.

Jason I really like this knife. Full comfortable handle with perfect utility blade shape. High performance in a simple package.
Only thing missing are the dimples:D

I agree, I'm liking this one very much too. Very simple and looks like it would make a wonderful knife for a large number of tasks.

Jason, you've posted some of the nicest knives I've seen on this forums, and I mean that sincerely. This one ranks right up there with the best, as you say, no frills, just a great knife. Way to go.

Very nice!
Do you take your own pictures? They look as pro as the knives you make.

Man, I think you've touched it all........doesn't come much nicer than that, IMHO! ;)

Its been a struggle, but I think I've found a groove with taking photos. Digital cameras help enormously - I was COMPLETELY hopeless with a regular camera, although they still turn out the best photos by far. I use a Ricoh camera, photos at 2megapixels with a fixed stand and diffuse white light on the ceiling. I often use the macro function for focussing since my knives are mostly pretty small. There's still a lot of work I do on the computer - I use Microsoft Picture It! 7.0 to adjust the photos after and reduce the pics to a web-friendly size. Thats what I've figured out so far. I'm no photo pro for sure... Jason.

Taking pictures is something I shouold have learned long ago and I hope I'll correct it this year. Ill bug you more about it when I get my camera, Jason.:) but it shouldnt be before the Blade Show.
