I'll get to the strange part later. We are still in the midst of our heatwave so I decided to take the dogs where there was shade and water.
You feel cooler just looking at this pic eh !
After a cooling dip in the water Maisy was ready to hit the trail again:
The whole area is alive with colour, not sure if this Pea Vine has any uses but it sure makes things look pretty. The green plant below the Pea Vine is Sea Asparagus which is quite a tasty edible !
Came across a cute pair of snakes but with the blazing sun this pair was fully charged and lightening fast so I only got this one pic:
Better include a knife pic eh !
Okay, now to the strange part, as I walked back along the beach I came across loads of these little fish lying around. Does anyone know what they are and why so many would be lying on the beach ? They are about 4" long !
