I got this email today. I tried to google him with no success. I tried a search on a few forum--no luck.. Anyone heard of this fella--( email below)--Thanks Marekz

--Hello,
This is an inquiry into the below question.
Do you ship internationally or do you intend to start shipping internationally? (Already we know of a freight forwarder that would pick packages on our behalf from any location in the United State and deliver to us in Australia)
We anticipate a mail order, therefore our mode of payment is via Credit Cards.
Please kindly email us a price list of your latest stocked inventory as an attachment in either pdf or MS words format for review so we could make our order.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any question.
Kind Regards.

His English seems stilted for an Australian. It reads like spam, a mass mailing to many providers of different goods. He doesn't say if he's interested in buying knives or scarves or dinner plates or what. No phone number or address. Would you take a credit card for a large order from someone you didn't know?

I wouldn't trust him. Don't even respond.

I got a message like this (very, very similar to this) when I put a bicycle up for sale on Craigslist. Very suspicious. I just deleted it.

Yes I figured that, its just strange that I never recieved one like that before ,( except the hearing impaired stunt-from craigslist) I just wonder how these guys know who to email. He must have somehow picked up on my forum sales- thats the only place I sell-- Thanks-Marekz

i know of this. where i am, we have an online site where you can sell stuff. like craigs list. when you put something up for sale, these people reply that the asking price seems fair. and they send you a cheque (western union or similar) they then tell you they will add the shipping fees to the asking price but a private courrier will come pick it up. so you ship the item and the cheque bounces. and your screwed.

the guys in your add seem a little more organized. but you can tell where its heading... so forget about them, or wait till the cheque clears.

If you own a business you'll get all kinds of questionable e-mail. If you don't recognize the name, and it seems suspicious just ignore.
