Why is it, when I am logged on, have checked PM's, then I click on a link in someones thread, it says I am not registered and have to sign in on the new screen??

When I click back to the original screen, yup, still logged in.

Interesting....

Your cookies are corrupted. Delete your cookies, reboot your computer, and log in again.

If you're using Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies. Other browsers are similar.

The difference is that some folks surf and create hyperlinks without the leading www before the bladeforums.com. Your cookies associate with a whole hyperlink - explicitly.

Therefore, if have a cookie session with www.bladeforums.com you do not have a session with bladeforums.com and vice versa.

Login via www.bladeforums.com and link #1 will work and #2 won't

p.s You can be logged in to both session at the same time too.

Well, I dumped the cookies, and everything seems to work fine so far.

Thanks to both guys.
