They also found a letter "that indicated how much Mrs. Nowak loved Mr. Oefelein," an opened package for a buck knife, Shipman's home address and hand written directions to the address, the arrest affidavit said."

Thats wierd, I read the story and it only called it a 4 inch knife. Its funny how the same "quote", from 2 diferent sources, comes out diferent. One must be a misquote.

It slipped by me the first time, but if you read it close, it's describing 2 separate searches, one of a bag she was carrying, and one of her car.

From the same article linked to above.

This was describing what they found in a bag she was carrying.

"During a check of the parking lot, an officer followed Nowak and watched her throw away a bag containing the wig and BB gun. They also found a steel mallet, a 4-inch folding knife, rubber tubing, $600 and garbage bags inside a bag Nowak was carrying when she was arrested, authorities said.

This describes what they found in her car.

I heard on the radio she had a 5 inch knife....! By the time it gets to trial it might become a sword! (liberal media)

Gotta watch out for dem BB guns too. You can put an eye out w/them things!
