Anyone knows where I could find a kydex or any more rigid material than leather sheath for cellphones ?</p>

I broke the screen of mine walking on it (yes it happens, especially when you're drunk) and I think a more rigid sheath should have protected it...

Mr. Matt Draper just may be the gentleman to help you. He's an absolute whiz when it comes to sheaths! Here's his link:

I know he's made some sheaths for multi-tools, flashlights, etc.

Bianchi makes accesory sheaths in their Accumold (Accufit?) ballistic nylon line. They also have PDA, binocular, and poratble CD or tape player cases. They're not as rigid as kydex but are similar to the thermo-formed nylon holsters. I've seen them at REI; I think there is a model that will fit the Nokia 51xx/61xx and one that will fit the StarTac-size.

Might give Mike Sastre at River City Sheaths a shout at VideoSAS@aol.com. He has made some fine kydex/concealex products.

Hey Guys....

Making a protective holster for a cellphone is not a problem...

What the problem is,, is How do you press a cellphone in a press that puts out 3-400 pounds per square inch ??

Gotta make a wooden mockup of the phone..Thats how...

Make me a wooden mockup,,slightly bigger than the phone,,and as exact as possible,,and I'll build a holster for it...

ttyle

Eric...
