Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to knives and have only found this site less than a week ago. I have a machete I inherited from my grandfather some time ago, but I never had a reason to use or carry it until recently. I've tried resting it on the my belt, pocket, hooking it under the belt loop, and any other way I could think of, but it always falls off after a short time of normal movement. I tried using google to find this design, but found nothing. I assume I'm either just missing something obvious, or this is some strange defective design. If anyone can give me some insight into which, it would be much appreciated.
