Hello I'm new here and a new knife collector. Hoping this forum can help me with some of the things i have picked up. Today I received 2 blades with a strange stamp on them. Couldnt find any info online but was hoping maybe someone here has seen this stamp before? I'm not even sure how to post pics on here hey but it looks like it says "varche pavuba" and info would be appreciated.

Could you possibly tell me how to?

That url with the funny colored letters is what's called a "link". If you "click" on it, either with your mouse or finger(if you're using a touch screen device), it'll take you to a whole new page! Like magic! On that page, as is suggested by the words in the funny colored URL, you'll find instructions on how post pictures.

BTW, so far I am suspecting that this may be a veteran bring back from the Philippines.

It may be a sir name or the name of a town, or both. However, if you notice the alphabet used is incorrect. Some of the letters are positioned sideways or in reverse. This may mean that the individual marking the knife was unfamiliar with the alphabet and was merely mimicking the appearance of words.
