No makers mark I could see. The owners of the antique place seem fairly knowledgeable and have no idea what it is. They ask everyone that looks at it if they know what it is, no luck yet. I wish I got more/ better pictures.

Huh. Never seen anything like it. I have a buddy that specializes in vises and he also has a network of knowledgeable guys. I'll show it to him.
