Strangest use of a Khukri

In the short film, "Running, jumping and standing still", one of the scenes has a character shot with a khukri in an odd duel: One person has a rifle, the other is given the khukri by the guy counting(one of those duel scenes where the two stand back-to-back, march apart and fire). When they turn, the khukri-guy shoots the counter with his khukri.
