Anyone else have "Strategic" hiding locations they place knives throughout the house?

I have a great one.....problem is I can't seem to recall where it is exactly. It seems to have swallowed my favorite SHBA.............. It would appear that there is a fine line between Strategic and MIA.

BUT on a positive outlook while searching for said SHBA, I was able to recover a "Strategically" placed SHSJ, 2 leathermans, my favorite sharpening stone and an small cask with about 150 rounds of .308 in it, all "strategically" placed at some point in time. Now I have a bounty on the SHBA with the "rescue team" looking for it. A 3 year old and an 8 year old, it's been a rough 18 hours since I realized it is missing.

See my Swamprat thread re: bogdoggone!cwd By the way, I think you sold me my very first Bussekin, a Ratmastiff, around 6 or so years ago.cwd

they will find it :)

Strategic locations throughout the house? Yes, but not that strategic.

Good luck with the treasure hunt!

Alright, treasure hunt!!! Man have I done that before. :grumpy: Where in the he-- did I put that SOB????????

None of my strategic locations are that hard to find. The safe. The top drawer when I am home, and usually at least one tucked safely in the mattress to poke some one if they get too close (and I don't grab the Glock first).

My wife's Scrapivore is in its sheath, velcro attached just to the left of her steering wheel. Easily drawn to slash someone poking their head in unwanted.

Been there STILL doing that... Have a NICK variant in the wind somewhere in this house...at least it had better be in here! it's been MIA for over 2 years now. :(
On the lighter side, I turned up this "strategically placed" (if I may borrow your term ;)) SH-e light fighter variant the last time I looked for the NICK-v. :)

May your SHBA turn up soon!

With the pots and pans. My wife doesn't cook so she never sees them or knows they exist.
Good luck with that SHBA.

Hmmm... that reminds me. I have an Active Duty and an XD .40 somewhere around here. Dang it. there goes the rest of my night. Good luck with your search.

Presently done the same thing with the keys to my gun cabinets ... scarey really as they are'nt going to be easy to open ...

.

I hid a bunch of stuff when we went on vacation one time, we have since moved and I still never found the electronic welding helmet!

.

There's only 1 solution . You make a cardboard mock up of a knife , sit and get hammered again and then say to yourself "where should I "Strategically" hide this knife" . You might go to the same place you went to last time . If not , well at least you got hammered :D

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

Put your minds at ease Gentleman, for I have emerged victorious this day!!!!

The poor Badger was found cold, alone and without the comforts of human contact after several days of missing. I am proud to announce she is in good spirits and BACK home with her family.

Also located this day was a completely forgotten SHSHII. (I really need a better system). Aside from 3 hours of sleep, the cut I sustained and the house torn apart, in the immortal words of Ice Cube, "Today was a good day"....

I don't know Jaxx, I always pictured a visit to your house starting with opening the door to have INFI start overflowing onto the deck :)
