I want to get a canoe. Specifically I'm looking to pick up one of the 1095 Queen classics. Queen offers this knife in four handle materials, but the ones I am interested in have strawberry, green, or crimson bone handles. Not owning many slippies myself I have not seen these materials often, if at all. Do you guys have any pictures of knives sporting these type-handles, if so, please share them with us less fortunate forumites.

Also, which one do you guys think I should pick?

Why, one of each of course! :D

I have a Queen trapper in the Crimson Bone and I like find it pretty attractive.

Definatly crimson bone. Nothing more classic than red bone.:thumbup::thumbup:

Although green is nice if its not too light.

I have owned several Queen 1095 Canoes and my favorite was the green bone. Larry

I like the green too, but I like green. I don't have a decent pic to post. It's sort of faded, like old denim, only green instead of blue. ;)

I've got Queen, Schatt & Morgan and Robeson knives with bone colors including crimson, antique green, amber wormgroove, strawberry, goldenroot and others I'm sure. The crimson is my favorite, followed by antique green.

Of those three, crimson gets my vote, but have to say I like the golden root best.

Here's the 4 different handles of the Queen City Canoes.
I think my fave is the antique green.
