This is a little review I did on this light back at the first of december, but can't remember if I posted it here at BF, this is over at KF. Anyway, I'm been really, really pleased with this light. I carry it with me all the time and it just clips in my pocket like a pen, but is constructed of aluminum and is very tough as I've dropped it several times with no problems. This is not like the cheap pen lights you can buy at discount stores, unless they are selling these.
I just picked up one of the Pro Styluses yesterday. I would have gotten the Microstream also but the store was out. This seems to be an improvment over the original Stylus, although the original's are still manufactured. The Pro Stylus is of greater diameter than the original stylus light's, but nothing that is uncomfortable to wear in the shirt pocket.
These lights run on AAA batteries, the Pro has 2 AAA's, is 5.25" in length, and produces 24 lumens, while the Microstream has 1 AAA, is 3.5" in length, and produces 20 lumens. These lights also have a reflector and a lens so that the LED is enclosed within the body of the light, unlike the original whose LED sticks out the front and is unprotected. The beam has a good center focus and has more than enough overspill to make walking in the dark no problem. I would not feel under equipped if this was the only light I had when the lights go out!
