Streamlight Strion worth the money?

I have one of the older versions, and - being a flashlight nutcase - I think they are worth the money. They are well made, very bright and have a good runtime. After all of these years, my Strion (and LED Stinger) are still laying on the front seat of my vehicle ready for action. I used the Strion with a light cone in a hard rain storm last week to direct traffic for about an hour. I like the strobe, though I do wish the "low" was much lower. But there is little not to like about the Strion (assuming you are talking about the LED flavor), and Streamlight is a fine maker.

I like my Strion and have never had any problems with it. As Powernoodle said, Streamlight is a very good company that makes a very good light. Having said that, I'd honestly recommend a Fenix TK 15 with rechargeable 18650 battery (and charger). I think the flashlight build from Fenix is just as good and it's brighter with an extra brightness mode.
 
Worth every penny as long as its the led version. Fast charge time and long run time. Used to keep one in my back pocket as a back up but used it more than my stinger. Great light, wish I never traded mine
