I just picked up one of these yesterday. This is the 2nd generation of the stylus light by Streamlight, and seems to be a vast improvement over the original. It uses two 3AAA batteries and puts out 24 lumens according to Streamlight. There is also a single 3AAA battery model, but not sure of the output. The one I have is about 5.25" long and is about 9/16" in diameter at the top and the bottom with the bulk of the body being 1/2" in diameter. It does have a greater diameter than the original but is still very easy to clip and carry in a shirt pocket. The LED is enclosed with a reflector and a polycarbonate lens. The original had a LED that just stuck out the end of the body. The on/off switch on the Stylus Pro is a two stage light with a momentary push and a click on and off. The finish is a flat black with the clip mounted very near the top. The on/off switch resembles a pen switch and does not look out of place at all when clipped into the shirt pocket. The body is aluminum and it is light enough that it does not drag your shirt pocket down making it look like you've got a brick in there! The light gives a distinct circle and has enough overspill to see well at night inside or out. I wouldn't feel under equipped if this was all the light I had when the lights go out. Well worth the $27.00 I paid for it, got it at a brick & mortar store. I expect it to be less expensive online.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
