I just ordered one of these and I was just wondering if anyone here had any opinions on them? The ability to switch from LEDs to a xenon bulb really appealed to me. So, did I make a good buy?

The two cells are good lights for the money, the single cells are pretty weak.

The two cell is what I ordered, I really just wanted something better than the mini-maglite I carry now, so I doubt I'll be disapointed.

ya wont be sorry, they are good lites, while the LED isnt as bright as my inova and the incandescent isnt as bright as a surefire, it is plenty bright enough, and a good deal for the $$ imho, have had mine for about a year now w/no probs at all......

Yep.

I have the 2 x 123 version. From memory, you get 28 hrs on the LEDs and 2 1/2 hours from the incandescent bulb.

The LEDs produce a wash of bluish light excellent for illuminating an area of several yards in front of you. I rarely need the incandescent, but it punches out to a good range.

Versatility, economy, solid build.

I recently got one of the two cells, and I am very happy with it. It gets used daily at work. I am looking for a quality sheath for this light that will hold up to daily wear in a rough environment. If anyone has any info on a product like this please let us know.

While not nearly as bright as a Surefire, they are very versatile, and for a very good price. I have been satisfied with my 2L.

I keep my 2 x 123 in a Maxpedition single sheath. Top quality kit, and it attaches easily to my Proteus.

Yes, you made a good buy. I have a Streamlight Twin Task 2L, and have found it to be an excellent light that has alot longer run time than the Surefire 6P (about the same size).
