Street Bowie for 45$! **Pics within**

Doing my usual browsing of ebay for Spydercos and went to the "recently added" list. Saw a Perrin Street Bowie with factory sheath(no tek-lok) and a custom leather sheath for 45$ buy it now...

I blink a few times and looked again... Read the description and everything looks right... Includes knife and both sheaths... Something has to be missing...


One more quick read and check of the picture and I have a Perrin Street Bowie coming in the mail for 45$.

(The very nice gentleman who I bought the Bowie from was kind enough to even include a gift! It’s a CRKT Michael Walker “BladeLock”. I believe this is the first model from 2001)






(I am told that the circular washer looking “thing” is actually a earth magnet to help retain the blade when in sheath)

Going to make a call to the SFO and get myself a gclip or small tek-lok... Maybe both.
Oh, and probably a shirt and matching beanie. :D
 
If that thing is in fact real (not saying it isn't, but it does sound a little suspect), then you got a killer deal.
 
Well done. I'm not parting with mine for $45. Would buy a couple more if they bring them back at that price point though!
 
Great find. Very nice of the guy to chuck in a gift as well, good karma to him.
A long time ago Ebay used to be good all the time for such, now it's mostly populated by carpetbaggers asking for $500 for Manix2 S90V's.
 
Sweet score! Is the handle modded? Something seems different than the one I had.
 
May just be the angle in the photos, but it does appear as if someone may have modded the grip area a bit. The grip area itself looks straighter, and both ends look deeper, with more abrupt transitions to the grip. Even if that's true, it was still a great buy.
