Hi all. In reference to this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=165732
here are a few folders with blades in the 3" range. Some of them I just received recently, so I can't give a review of their performance yet.

They are: from top to bottom, a Case 5347D, my EDC for about three years; a BM 705, My EDC for three months, easy on the pocket and I love the axis lock!; a CRKT 6752 Crawford Point Guard small with the LAWKS lock, new; and a CRKT M16-02Z, also new, love that flipper!

This shot show the small ones with their larger brethren.

From the top: the BM 705; the BM 710; the CRKT 6752 small Point Guard; the CRKT 6753 large Point Guard; the CRKT M16-02Z; and the M16-03Z.
BTW, the only one NOT sharp out of the box was the BM 710 which hardly seemed sharpened at all! I have not had this problem with the five other BM's I've gotten, but it seems worth mentioning.
John.

I'm good to 3.6" here in Colorado, but I prefer a smaller knife. My small Sebenza is just under 3". I've been tempted by the BM705 a few times. Cool knife.

One of the coolest thins about the M16 series is the way the thumbstud also functions as a blade stop. I would call the M16 series true hard use folders.
